SUMMERSET TRAVEL AGENCY is not responsible if an airline cancels, reschedules, or delays a flight for any reason and therefore, you are releasing the company, employees, and sub agents from liability for the Airlines flight changes and cancellations.

SUMMERSET TRAVEL AGENCY (TRAVEL AGENT) is acting solely as intermediary and agent for the travel services requested and that these services (i.e. Air and Sea Carriage, Hotel accommodation, Ground transportation, Tours, Meals, Cruises, Travel Insurance, etc.) are not directly supplied by this travel agency. This agency therefore shall not be responsible for breach of contract or any intentional or careless actions or omissions on part of suppliers, which may result in any loss, damage, delay or injury to you and your travel companions. This agency likewise shall not be responsible for any injuries, damages, losses caused to any traveler in connection with terrorist activities, social or labor unrest, mechanical or construction difficulties, diseases, local laws, climatic conditions, abnormal conditions or developments, or any other actions, omissions or conditions outside the travel agent’s reasonable control.

By embarking upon this travel, Travelers (CUSTOMER) voluntarily assume all risks involved with such travel, whether expected or unexpected.

Travelers are responsible for the accuracy of travel documents such as valid passports, valid visas and affidavits that will be required for international travel. Exit from the Philippines and entry into a foreign country are solely the discretion and decision of the Immigration Officer. Travelers who purchase tickets of Budget Airlines (i.e. CEBU PACIFIC, AIR ASIA) are advised that these are NON-REFUNDABLE for any reason.

Flight cancellations and delays of these airlines are beyond the Travel Agent’s reasonable control, hence it accepts no responsibility for these events. However, Travel Agent endeavors to exert all its effort to assist Customers in these situations.

Unused tour services are NON REFUNDABLE. Customers’ retention of tickets, reservations, tour/hotel vouchers and other travel documents after issuance shall constitute consent to all of the above and an agreement on their part to convey hereto to their travel companions or group members.

In line with SUMMERSET TRAVEL AGENCY objective of providing convenient and SECURE PAYMENT TRANSACTIONS (ONLINE and FRONT FACING) and adding an ADDITIONAL LEVEL OF SECURITY to PROTECT our customers from FRAUD.

Further verification for electronic payments requires the presentation of the following:

Copy of Credit Card/Debit Card (Front side).

Make sure that the FIRST 6 and LAST 4 are showing. For your privacy, MASK, BLUR or COVER digits 7 to 12

Government Issued ID: any 1 of the following:

Passport, Driver’s license, SSS/ GSIS ID, School ID, Professional Regulations Commission (PRC) ID, National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Clearance, Postal ID and Voter’s ID

The purchase of any travel services offered by SUMMERSET TRAVEL AGENCY constitutes a contractual arrangement between you and SUMMERSET TRAVEL AGENCY and represents your acceptance of the Terms & Conditions set out herein.

Coronavirus (COVID19) support

Please be aware that local government measures and guidelines put in place by individual travel services providers – including hotels, transfer, car rental, theme parks, tours, events and other ancillaries – are leading to social distancing and preventative health and hygiene measures to protect travellers according to the regulations of each country.

Therefore it is likely that hotel guests may find that some facilities – for example the swimming pool, gym area, or buffet halls – will understandably not be available; equally travellers with tickets for theme parks, tours and other activities might find some elements have been adapted or removed; and in the case of multi-day tours different restrictions could be imposed by different local authorities (nonetheless we will endeavor to provide the most accurate and up-to-date information).

We apologise for any inconvenience these unavoidable changes may cause.

Additionally please note that it is the responsibility of the traveller to choose the most appropriate rates– whether that be flexible or non-refundable – when booking hotels, transfers, car rentals, theme parks, tours, events and other ancillaries, and have the valid information as required by the authorities (PCR tests, or similar taken within the required time frame), according to their needs in view of current COVID-19 travel restrictions. Therefore, for new bookings created as of or later than June 1st, cancellations will be processed according to the applicable terms & conditions of the booking.
